How has a parent dealt with there child having Central Auditory Processing Disorder? - central auditory processing disorder more condition_symptoms
I feel that my son is 8 years old have some kind of CAPD. Exhibits many symptoms and I wonder if I should get him to be evaluated. The thing is, he does very well in their studies. But he said that other teachers (art teachers, computer, etc.) are frustrated with him because he wants to clarify some statements. It seems to me, still is sitting with him in the back of the class. My son told me he'd be nervous if you want to ask another question. I do not want to damage your self-esteem. I think at home, I repeat, until you understand. I know that the teachers have no patience. But once again he is very intelligent and curious teachers are not aware of the problem. How to fight against this and what the best kind of school environment for your child?

My son does not have this problem. The problem I have is simple. She has IBS. It's hard to go to the toilet. It has also eat snacks throughout the day instead of regular meals. Although I have already started during the school year, I had to have the nurse contact, a note excusing her from the toilet when I needed him and for the meals. He wrote and e-mail to a teacher who has fought in detail what the ISI was explained, and its complications. It was also very friendly and attentive and I thank you for your time and your understanding in this matter. I even told my daughter that I feel a lot to learn from each of them and thanked them for their education. I asked him please to show it to all their teachers to help understand all of them. I told him that I supported, and that was no excuse not to finish their work and I am one hundred percent. I also called the manager and told him everything and was very helpful. Finally, I won my fight. I say this scholarshipto use not understand the teacher and the complications of a child are known, with a paticular disease May. Find information to better understand the condition of their child and may have a copy for each teacher. Send word of your child's teacher to explain why and the other teachers in their number, if there should be questions. Tell them that I appreciate and take your time with your child. Hope this helps. If not, I would like to arrange a meeting with all present and the director. Good luck!
